    This is an example of deep focus a part of depth of field. Today in class were were assigned two compositional techniques however I was not here so I had to wait until the next class period. In the next class period I was assigned one technique and do research upon it to get a better understanding of the next assignment. We talked about Camera composition which is the visual elements and the way that they are arranged within there frame. Camera composition is important in film because it helps the audience understand the film better and keep them engaged throughout the film. The Director of photography is usually responsible for camera composition. The key concepts in camera composition is the rule of thirds, balance, blocking, camera work and depth of field. Since I was not here the day that every on picked what they wanted to work on I was assigned depth of field.

 Today in class we started talking about marketing strategies and what they are used for. We talked about things like film distributers and how they are used to release films using old and new media to help connect to the audience tying into media convergence. We also talked about celebrity and brand partnership basically when a a well known person or thing is placed in a movie it help the movie to get recognition from different groups of people.  In this image the production company used celebrity & brand partnership by having Michael Jordan (the celebrity in this case) wear Jordans which is also Michel Jordan shoe brand. This helped to get the movie a  wider audience. They targeted people that like Michel Jordan and shoe lovers. 

  This assignment were asked to take pictures of different king camera framings showing off our understanding of these framing‘s. Within this activity we documented the definition of the Within this activity we documented the definition of the camera framing technique the purpose of the technique and the elements, name of technique. Which all can be seen in the images below

  We were asked to take pictures listing the camera angles the definition of the angles the purpose of the angles in the name of the angles. The pictures illustrate our understanding of the camera angle. All the list of camera Ingle techniques are listed above in the images to showcase my understanding.

In this assignment we were instructed to take pictures illustrate our understanding of camera movement in this part of the assignment I illustrated shot sizes. In each picture I named the shot size also giving it to definition its purpose and its elements. The elements are the things that stand out to help give a better understanding for the shot size itself. The purpose of the shot size being documented what’s to create in the understanding of the image and what it normally conveys when used in films.
